Parent-Student-Teacher Conference Sign-Up at Park

Fall conferences will be held on Monday, November 24 from 8:30-1pm and 2:30-8pm.  
 
The window to schedule conferences opened at 12:01am Tuesday, November 4th through Tuesday, November 18th (11:59PM).  You will need to use your Powerschool online grades username and password in order to log-in and get started with scheduling.

Request for Action - Protect $2.6M in Funding for District 102

Request for action to save District 102 schools from losing millions annually.
 
At the District 102 School Board meeting on Nov 6, 2014, the Board passed a resolution related to the possible loss of 2.6+ million dollars of funding from the state of Illinois. Senate Bill 16 (SB16) is an attempt to change education funding for the first time since 1997.  If SB16 is enacted School District 102 stands to lose $2,694,065 annually.

Parents: Learn the Facts about Enterovirus D68

Attention
Every year, millions of children in the United States get enterovirus infections that can cause coughing, sneezing, and fever. This year, children throughout the country have gotten sick with respiratory illnesses caused by enterovirus D-68 (EV-D68). EV-D68 is one of many enteroviruses that often spread in the summer and fall. It’s not a new virus, but it hasn’t been very common in the past.

Full Day Kindergarten slots are now filled

As explained at Information Nights, the full day slots are filled on a first come, first serve basis. We always encourage kindergarten families to register by spring break. At this point in time all slots have been filled. We will continue to have half day slots available. Please contact Carol Norvilas at the Administration Center (708-482-2400 x 7024) with any questions.

Board Sets New Last Day of School

At their meeting on April 24, the Board of Education revised the 2013-14 student calendar based on the use of four weather-related closing days.  

The final student day will be Thursday, June 5.
