New & Returning Students



Online Enrollment and Residency Verification applies to ALL students every school year.  Enrollment involves going online to fill out and update the required information for your student.  If you have multiple students, you must enroll each student online. This process can be completed via your computer, tablet/iPad or similar.  There will be computers and assistance available at your home school. Please note - you will not be able to complete online registration through the PowerSchool App.   

Your student’s enrollment is not confirmed in D102 until you have completed all steps and provided the required paperwork.

ENROLLMENT FOR NEW AND/OR TRANSFERRING IN STUDENTS: If you have recently moved into our school district, please click here to verify you reside within District Boundaries. Your student is considered as new to district 102 if…

  • Your family is new/recently moved to District 102
  • Your family has established residence and this is your first child enrolling in the district
  • Your child has never received services (Speech, Pre-K) or been enrolled in D102
  • Your child attended a D102 school but has transferred out to attend another school district prior to February 1, 2020

RESIDENCY FOR NEW STUDENTS/FAMILIES: All new to district families must provide proof of residency.  Please click here for required documentation.  Contact your school to set up a day and time to bring in completed residency forms.  

New to district families, regardless of grade, must provide a copy of student’s certified birth certificate, the most recent physical and immunization records. In addition, if you have a kindergarten, 2nd and 6th grade student(s) you must provide the appropriate state required medical forms.

ENROLLMENT FOR RETURNING FAMILIES/STUDENTS: Please log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal and click Returning Student Registration. You can locate the link on the left-hand side of the main screen, under Navigation,  after logging on to your PowerSchool Parent Portal. Families with more than one child in D102, you will need to register all students. If you are enrolling a younger child, who has never been enrolled in D102, complete Returning Student Registration for your current student(s); then click New Student Registration for your new to district student’s.  If you can’t access your Parent Portal, contact your school secretary for assistance.

RESIDENCY FOR ALL RETURNING FAMILIES/STUDENTS:  District 102 will perform a search through several public databases that will allow us to confirm you reside within D102 boundaries. If residency has been confirmed, there is no need to come for registration days at Park. If residency has not been confirmed, you will be notified with further instructions.


STATE REQUIRED HEALTH FORMS: If you have a kindergarten, 2nd and 6th-grade student you must provide the appropriate state required medical forms. 
If you have never registered a student in D102, please follow New Student instructions.  Kindergarten students with older siblings will follow Returning Families/Student instructions.  Please note, you need to complete registration for returning students prior to registering a new student.

**PLEASE NOTE - kindergarten school choice is not confirmed until you are notified by a District Representative.**
