Dear Congress Park Community,
Time is flying! It seems like just yesterday that we were welcoming students into their classrooms for the very first time. Now, well into October, hallways are covered with student work and our classrooms are filled with learners that are acquiring and practicing new skills, collaborating with classmates, and finding ways to make our community a better place to learn and grow. Each day brings new opportunities for learning and connection.
I find myself thinking often about how honored I am to be a member of the CP community. Thank you for all you do to make Congress Park such a special place.
Important Information
Arrival and Dismissal: Please review the procedures and traffic map below in order to create a smooth start and finish to our days. Please follow our crossing guards' directives to ensure that students, staff, and families can travel safely to and from school.
Please note that the entire parking lot will be closed at 8:00 a.m. Students can be dropped off along Madison Avenue on the school-side of the street at the drop off location right after the parking lot. (Please see the traffic map for clarification.)
Please do not drop your children at school before 8:10, as there is no adult supervision prior to this time.
There is no parking along Madison Avenue; drop-off and pick-up only. Madison Avenue will become a one-way street heading south beginning at 8:00 a.m. each school day and again at the end of the school day during pick up. Once school begins and once all students have been picked up at the end of the day, Madison will again become a two-way street. This is for the safety of our children and your cooperation is appreciated. Additionally, parking along Raymond is not permitted. This is a drop-off and pick-up only.
