We are excited to announce that Park Junior High School is kicking off a school-wide Special Olympics fundraiser with a “Cool School” Polar Plunge right here on school grounds on February 20th!
This event is more than a plunge into cold water. It’s a plunge into empathy, compassion, and leadership. With the generous help of the LaGrange Park Fire Department, participants will take a quick dip for an incredible cause. All participants who plunge will receive an official Polar Plunge sweatshirt as a small thank you for making a big difference.
How you can help:
Plunge with our students. There is no greater example than seeing trusted adults step forward and show that giving back can be just as powerful, if not more than receiving.
Support a student or staff member by donating on their page.
Contribute to our Angel Fund, which helps ensure that students who fall just short of their goal can still succeed and plunge.
Join us on February 20th around 2:45 p.m. to cheer on our school team and celebrate this moment together.
