Dear Congress Park families,
It is a true honor to serve as the new Principal of Congress Park Elementary School. I am committed to getting to know the community, learning from you, and partnering with staff, students, and families to foster a community that celebrates and promotes student learning and well-being. Together we will continue to celebrate the voices, experiences, and cultures of each and every student in our classrooms.
I firmly believe in creating learning experiences where children can discover and leverage their talents to find success. We will work together to create educational opportunities that allow our students to use their skills to be future-ready: independent critical thinkers, empathetic collaborators, and empowered learners that problem solve, make personal connections, and use their knowledge and skills to make a difference in the world around them.
My husband, Esteban, my two children, Morgan and Harvey, and I are thrilled to join the Congress Park community. While we are sad to leave family and friends that we have spent time with in Quito, Ecuador for the past eight years, we are excited to build relationships, share our experiences, and create memories at Congress Park and in the Chicagoland area.
I would like to recognize Dr. James Robinette for his contributions to this dynamic and thriving community over the past years. I look forward to meeting with you and listening to your experiences at Congress Park. I will be setting up an opportunity for a meet and greet in the near future.
